The Community Engagement Committee was formed by then Department Chair, Prof. Michael Schmitt, from a group of volunteers within the department. Committee membership will rotate yearly, and is currently composed of:

- Graduate Students: Olivia Bitter, Hardeep Singh
- Postdocs: Adrian Thompson
