Kiran Prakriya Named Fulbright Fellow

Physics and Astronomy undergraduate student, Kiran Prakriya, has been named a Fulbright Fellow for the 2026-2027 school year!
After graduating this month with a bachelor’s degree in physics and electrical engineering, Prakriya will attend the University of Münster as a Fulbright Fellow for the 2026-27 academic year. Under the guidance of Hubert Krenner at the Physikalisches Institut, he will conduct research on quantum transduction.
Kiran worked with Professor Bill Halperin's Low Temperature Physics Group and investigated the properties of silica aerogel and the effects of impurities on superfluid 3He.
