P&A Welcomes New Faculty Member

The Department of Physics & Astronomy is excited to welcome a new faculty member this fall, Allison Strom. Professor Strom joins Northwestern from Princeton University where she currently serves as a Carnegie-Princeton Fellow. She will be affiliated with Northwestern while she receives and analyzes the first data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST). Her research focuses on the chemical enrichment of distant galaxies, primarily by analyzing their rest-UV and rest-optical spectra using ground-based telescopes.
