Alex Romanenko Awarded Particle Accelerator Science and Technology Award

romanenko.jpegProfessor Alex Romanenko, Physics and Astronomy faculty member and Fermilab scientist, has been awarded a 2022 Particle Accelerator Science and Technology Award from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society (IEEE PAST).

Professor Romanenko, an active member of Northwestern’s Center for Applied Physics and Superconducting Technologies (CAPST), is one of only two recipients of the 2022 IEEE PAST Award which “recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the development of particle accelerator science and technology.”
